Apollo 11 signed party programme R&R2
On the morning of September 9, 1969, the Apollo 11 crew released the “First Man on the Moon” stamp in Washington. That evening, they all attended a "Splash-Down" party at the Shoreham Hotel in Washington.
A commemorative display piece was prepared featuring the Apollo 11 plaque, along with one of the first stamps ever issued (and postmarked that day).
The crew then signed the Apollo 11 plaque to mark the event.
